The Doctoral Program in Computer Science extends its congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Ir. Deris Stiawan, M.T., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng. on his success in securing the 2026 Mobility Research Grant for High-Impact Diaspora, a grant program organized by the Directorate of Research and Development Talent Development, Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
This collaboration involves an Indonesian diaspora member at Al-Baha University, Prof. Dr. Rahmat Budiarto, in the development of research in the fields of cybersecurity, intrusion detection systems, IoT security, IPv6, security for industrial control systems, computer networks, security and privacy in vehicular ad-hoc networks, and traffic classification.
This strategic collaboration also involves several universities in Indonesia, namely Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED), Jakarta Veteran National Development University (UPN Veteran Jakarta), Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), and Muhammadiyah University of Kotabumi, as a form of synergy to strengthen the national and international research ecosystem.
