
The Unsri Faculty of Computer Science Graduate Program is committed to producing graduates capable of drafting high-quality research proposals as the basis for completing their final projects (theses or dissertations). To help students develop this competency, the Unsri Faculty of Computer Science Graduate Program is organizing a Workshop and Coaching Clinic on Drafting Graduate Research Proposals. The event took place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until completion in the 2nd-floor conference room of the Training Building at the Faculty of Computer Science, Unsri, Palembang, and was also held online. The speakers included the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at Unsri, the Graduate Program Coordinator, and professors from the Faculty of Computer Science at Unsri, including Prof. Dr. Erwin, S.Si., M.Si., Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Tutuko, M.T., Prof. Ir. Siti Nurmaini, M.T., Ph.D., Prof. Deris Stiawan, M.T., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Ermatita, M.Kom.
This event, attended by prospective doctoral (S3) students at the Faculty of Computer Science, Unsri, is expected to provide an understanding of the curriculum structure and study progression of the Faculty of Computer Science’s graduate program, identify research topics and directions relevant to the field of computer science, equip participants with the skills to draft a preliminary proposal—including the research title, introduction (research gap and urgency), literature review, research methods, and reference list—and provide intensive group-based coaching (Coaching Clinic) to finalize the preliminary proposal drafts.
