Development of the DL-AZT Deep Learning Model for Retinal Lesion Detection Is the Focus of Research by a PhD Student in Information and Communication Technology at UNSRI

The Doctoral Program in Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science, Sriwijaya University, congratulates M. Riza Pahlevi B. on successfully completing his dissertation proposal seminar as part of the academic requirements for the Doctoral Program in Computer Science.

During the seminar, M. Riza Pahlevi B. presented a dissertation proposal titled “Deep Learning Adaptive Zoom Tiling (DL-AZT) for Improving the Performance of Diabetic Retinopathy Lesion Detection in Retinal Images.” This research focuses on developing a deep learning approach to improve lesion detection performance in retinal images, particularly in cases of diabetic retinopathy.
